Our brains love symmetry. We are naturally drawn to  the balance and harmony of symmetrical forms, which are commonly found in Nature.

Flowers have evolved to use a combination of symmetrical patterns, scent, and colour to attract bees. These qualities attract us to flowers too and explain why we love them and why they lift our spirits. 

SNAPLAPSE! is an addictive game of symmetry based on exclusive  time-lapsed videos of different flowers blooming. Each collection of six flowers represents about 500 hours of time-lapse capture. Create beautiful multi-layered kaleidoscopic patterns and then try to match two halves using your touchscreen and a combination of controls. Play against the clock, or just chill and enjoy the puzzle!

Snaplapse lets you take a deep breath, and focus your brain for a moment on something soothing and absorbing.



Like all good puzzles, it’s practice and observation that will improve your skills. It’s not easy, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not as tricky as it might seem at first!

Score a 100% snap and save it to your private gallery where you can play it again to try to beat your own top-time. Or even better, share your snaps to challenge and compete with friends! A shared Snap Challenge will appear in the receiver’s shared gallery.  If they beat your time they get a gold badge  and send it back to challenge you to a return match. If you beat them you get the badge and they lose it!
